Alarm systems

A safe alarm on your Jaguar or Land Rover The new Jaguar and Land Rover models are supplied ex-factory with an alarm system that meets the strict SCM requirements, the national authority in the field of motor vehicle security. For these Land Rover alarm systems, we can issue the SCM Class 3 certificate.
We can also secure older Jaguar Land Rover models with an alarm system.
You decide which alarm you choose:
- Class 1 - Extra start interruption with additional authorization
- Class 2 - Full alarm system with extra start interruption with extra authorization
- Class 3 - Class 2 alarm system with tilt sensor
- Class 4 + - Vehicle tracking system with anti-jamming in combination with Class 1, 2 or 3.
The above systems comply with the latest SCM guidelines (AA04 and TT04). In addition to the Land Rover factory alarms (SCM class 3), we recommend that you install an SCM certified vehicle tracking system including anti-jamming (SCM class 4+). Hands-free calling in your Jaguar or Land Rover The development of mobile phones, with all functions, continues at a rapid pace.

The range of smartphones is also enormous, with a large variation in used electronics. For the engineers at Jaguar Land Rover it is a big challenge to make the mobile phone integration systems in the various Jaguar and Land Rover models compatible with the current range of telephones. Due to the differences in applied Bluetooth® technology and software, it appears that not all commercially available telephones are compatible with Jaguar and Land Rover telephone systems. These models are registered in a special list. In view of the rapid developments in mobile phone area, this list is regularly updated.
